My webhost hardened the server even further - after he had detected even more attacks. I've also gone in and done some PHP fixes that should make the sites less CPU intensive. Right now they're running pretty well. I'm hoping it stays that way.

The heavy load we've been experiencing for a very long time was(is) an attack and now I have 3 new pieces of security on the site enabled and working at different levels. This means that issues might pop up like incompatibility so please email me at templarart at gmail dot com if you see anything. Unfortunately with my new full time job this means that I got very little done over the weekend but my thought was - would you like new content or sites that were fast and stable? Obviously the short URL software wasn't the problem so I upgraded and re-enabled it.
